Im Coming Out: Part 4

So writing my blog post for Coming Out: Part 2 inspired me to write a rhyme about coming out. I have learned when I can't find music that speaks to me and motivates me to move forward in life to just make my own. Usually it's just hidden in my head or my heart. I always joke about rapping. I dated several guys in the past who had a passion for rapping and always found it interesting. I just never had the guts to rap because I figured it's not the sort of thing that would make my parents proud. Now a days you don't really have to have talent to rap. Just drive and swag. I was trying to share my rhyme with my sister and explain to her the beat that was in my head. She said, " Quinta why don't you just find a beat online and then share it. So I found an instrumental, recorded it on my computer, and posted it. This is for my new school people. Who knows maybe one day I'll go record it for real. I've found I can do all things through Christ. This one won't embarrass me down the line because of the content, but boy do I and will I get a good laugh at myself. I have found that faith, laughter, and creative expression are all very vital to the moving forward process.
